Zeitschrift für
Mykologie accepts exclusively German-language
manuscripts and is primarily intended for scientific information
of mycologists within the German-linguistic area. Manuscripts on
taxonomy, systematics, morphology, anatomy, ecology, and ethnomycology
are accepted, as well as contributions on ultrastructure and distribution
of all fungal groups, including lichens.
Mycological
Progress is an English-language journal of all
fungal sciences. It focuses on international exchange of knowledge
and discussion. It is primarily a research journal that publishes
articles of taxonomic, systematic, evolutionary, cell biological,
ecological, pathological (plants, animals, humans), and biotechnological
relevance. Results of all current methods are accepted: e. g., morphology,
anatomy, ultrastructure (TEM, SEM), genetics, molecular biology,
chemistry, and physiology. Review articles are accepted, too. Contributions
about novel methods and trends in mycology are welcome.
Zeitschrift
für Mykologie Beihefte (‘Supplement’)
is dedicated to comprehensive contributions, which cannot be printed
in a journal due to their length. These supplements are printed
if required and are not published regularly.
DGfM-Mitteilungen
is the German Myclogical Society’s bulletin. In this bulletin
information is published about PilzsachverständigeDGfM (‘Specialists
in Fungi’), society news, short communications, announcements
of meetings, exhibitions, working groups and regional mycological
associations, etc..
The German Myclogical Society and the Landesgesundheitsamt Mecklenburg-Vorpommern published in cooperation a Compendium for specialists in fungi (PSV).
Members of the mycological working groups Augsburg, München and Ulm developped a series of teaching posters about fungi with the support of DGFM.
